In Saratoga Lodge No. 14, the Worshipful Master’s prerogatives are a subset of the Lodge’s Strategic Plan; and, these prerogatives are short term objectives which provide immediate opportunities to the members to achieve the Lodge’s long term goals as established in the Lodge’s Strategic Plan. The prerogatives are similar in concept to the Grand Master’s Program, but they are intended to solve and answer issues that are restricted to the Lodge’s Jurisdiction, and it’s greater area if no other lodge is available to serve other nearby communities. For example, Saratoga Lodge’s jurisdiction is the town of Saratoga, and it includes Encampment and Riverside; however, there is no Jurisdiction in Hannah, Elk Mountain, and Medicine Bow. Saratoga Lodge’s Strategic Plan includes these additional communities and surrounding areas and they all are collectively referred to as the North Platte River Valley(NPRV).
