Franklin J. DeForest

Franklin Jacob DeForest, known to his friends as “Duke,” was born in Laramie, Wyoming, December 10, 1903. He received his elementary and high school education in the Laramie public schools, and was graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1927. He took advanced study at Rutgers University and at the University of Wyoming where he received a Master of Arts degree in the College of Commerce and Industry.
